First-Time Guests and Visitors

What to expect A usher will greet you, welcome you, and answer any questions you may have about us.  To make it easier for you to follow along, we also provide printed copies of the full service which you may pick up on your way into the sanctuary.  Please ask an usher, greeter, or any church member to help with any questions you have!

What are your services like? Faith Lutheran is a liturgical church. Tied unbreakably to the words and promises of God, just about every word we say or sing is either a quote or paraphrase from the Bible  We believe real worship is timeless and profound, not based on fads, trends or demographic studies.  We come together for that which is eternal. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated every week at each service.

Our 8:45 Traditional service follows a formal order of worship with hymns out of the Lutheran Service Book. The service is accompanied by our Casavant Pipe organ and the voice choir and bell choir participate in this service. 

Our 10:45 Contemporary service follows a less formal order of worship and is accompanied by our Praise Band.

Is there a dress code?  You will find people who come in suits or dresses.  You’ll find people who come in “tourist casual.”  God looks on the heart, not the outward apparel.

What do you offer?  Serving the community since 1958. We are known far and wide for the beauty of our worship, the depth of our theology, and the works of love that serve our God and our neighbor.  We have much to offer you here, and encourage you to join us for worship, browse our website and/or come by our church office to find out more about our community of faith & rich heritage. 

What about kids?  Your kids are welcome in the service!  We think that kids should learn to worship too.  Children’s Sunday School is offered at 10:00 between services. Monthly Congregational Breakfast Join us between services on the first Sunday of the month for a delicious full  breakfast. This gives the early and late service a time to mingle during this time. We look forward to seeing you.
